The Filipino Chamber of Commerce of Hawaiʻi consists of hundreds of entrepreneurs, business executives, and leaders who participate, engage, and seek involvement with the Filipino community in Hawaiʻi and beyond.

Our History
Our history dates back to 1947, when a group of civic-minded Filipino businessmen — fueled by the desire to unite the then-fledgling Filipino business community — gathered and formed the Filipino Businessman’s Association. Today, the FCCH represents a growing influence of changemakers in Hawaiʻi and in the Filipino diaspora.
Civic-minded Filipino businessmen formed the Filipino Businessman’s Association to promote the common aims of the Filipino community in Hawaiʻi.
Formally established with 47 charter members, adopting the Philippine coat of arms as its logo.
Established a scholarship fund and led the first Trade Mission to the Philippines under President Barney Menor.
Elected Isabel Tagala as the Chamber’s first female President, a milestone in the organization’s history.
Updated name and by-laws; opened membership to non-Filipinos and restructured leadership terms.
Launched the annual awards program honoring outstanding Filipino entrepreneurs in Hawaiʻi.
Created the FCCH Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization to handle charitable, scholarship, and educational programs.
